Data we collect

We collect your account information (email, name), the recipes you import, the cooking preferences you choose to share (goal, recipe sources, diet, food allergies or intolerances, household size, kitchen equipment, how you heard about us) and anonymized usage data to improve the service.

How we use data

Your data is used only to run MakEat: importing and structuring your recipes, adapting suggestions and AI-generated recipes to your preferences, syncing your devices and managing your subscription. Allergies are optional and used only to adapt AI-generated recipes.

Sharing

We never sell your data. We rely on tightly controlled technical subprocessors (hosting, payment, AI). When you generate a recipe, our AI provider receives your diet and allergy constraints without your name, email or any identifier.

Your rights

You can access, export or delete your data at any time from your settings, or by contacting us.
